Once upon a time my journalistic career brought me into the fold of food writing. While at first I though, how much journalistic integrity could a food critic have? I quickly realized the passion, and desire that those in the food industry have.

While I still maintained my day job, I threw myself into the culinary world, taking cooking classes, and eventually, enrolling in culinary school around the hours of my job. Easy? No. Worth it? Usually!

Here, my friends and I share the best of what I have learned, along with recipes, techniques, and tips from the best in the industry so that hopefully you can learn with me as I go. Because if you’re going to make anything, why not make it like a chef?!
